TRANSPARENCY
Our business model should be easy to understand—not a footnote.
The publication and the business
Making carefully researched consumer information available requires writing, fact-checking, editing, technical maintenance and continued updates. EvePaw may support that work through affiliate arrangements, advertising or other clearly identified commercial relationships. These arrangements can change over time; the existence of this page does not mean we currently have a relationship with every company we discuss.
Our editorial standard is that an article should remain useful when no one clicks a link. The reader’s question comes first. A policy’s exclusions and price variability should not disappear from a review because a partner pays for referrals.
How affiliate links may work
Some links may contain tracking information. If you follow an eligible partner link and complete a qualifying action, EvePaw may receive compensation, depending on the partner’s terms. This can involve applications, purchases or other defined events. A click alone does not necessarily generate payment, and affiliate arrangements are not identical across companies.
Where a material relationship affects a recommendation or referral, we aim to place a plain-language disclosure near the commercial content—not only here. Read the fuller Affiliate Disclosure.
What payment does not buy
A company cannot purchase a false claim, guaranteed positive review, fabricated ranking or concealment of a meaningful disadvantage. Our provider coverage includes companies without a confirmed affiliate relationship, and we do not treat compensation as evidence that one policy is best for all pets.
An insurer may offer a better fit for a particular case because of coverage, deductible design, annual limits or direct-payment arrangements. Those distinctions need to be supported by documentation, not a commission schedule.
How we evaluate products
Our current insurance reviews are qualitative and unscored. We explain plan design, who might benefit, who should keep comparing and what policy language readers need to confirm. We do not assign star ratings without a formal public scoring framework. See Review Methodology.
Advertising and sponsorships
Paid placements or sponsored material, if introduced, should be distinctly labeled and not masquerade as independent editorial reporting. We will not present paid promotion as a veterinary endorsement or a consumer testimonial that did not occur.
Questions about commercial relationships
Contact contact@evepaw.com to ask about a disclosure, report a missing label or raise an editorial concern. Specific partner arrangements may be confidential, but material relationships that readers need to evaluate a recommendation should not be obscured.
